This sweet extended family session was held in Yokohama Bay, known as Keawaula Beach, in Oahu, Hawaii.
Cynthia, her brother and her sister gave a surprise trip to their mom to visit Hawaii. She hasn’t been here since she was little and it would be a great opportunity for all of them to get together. They came from Canada and were excited to spend their vacation in Oahu.
A week before their session, I was contacted by Patrick, the boyfriend of Cynthia’s sister, letting me know that he was going to propose to his girlfriend and asking for suggestions on what time would be best to do it during their session.
When I broke them into groups, I left them to be the last ones, and when he proposed, everyone was so excited and she was stunned!
It was amazing to experience this beautiful moment for their family and I was so glad to be able to capture moments that they will cherish forever.
The weather wasn’t our friend that day but thankfully it held for our session!
