Good morning and Happy Monday!!!

One of the greatest gifts of being a photographer is seeing families come back year after year. Watching children grow, seeing relationships deepen, and capturing new chapters of their story always fills my heart.

This beautiful family returned for another session with me, and we met at Magic Island in Oahu just after sunrise — one of the most peaceful and magical times of the day.

The morning was calm, the ocean was soft, and the sky had the most delicate pastel colors. Everything felt quiet, intimate, and full of love.

Why I Love Photographing Repeat Families

There is something incredibly special about photographing families who trust me again with their memories. There’s already comfort, connection, and ease — and that allows for the most genuine moments.

Their daughter was full of joy and curiosity, and we spent the morning laughing, playing, and capturing those sweet little expressions that parents want to remember forever.

It never feels like “posing” — it feels like documenting real life.

And that is always my goal.

The Magic of Sunrise Sessions in Oahu

Sunrise sessions are truly my favorite.

The light is soft and dreamy, the beach is quiet, and families can simply be present together without distractions. Children tend to be happier and more relaxed in the morning, which makes the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone.

Magic Island is especially beautiful at sunrise — open views of the ocean, gentle colors in the sky, and the peaceful energy that makes every moment feel timeless.
