Happy Monday beautiful people!

I knew that heading to Lanai Lookout, in Honolulu, Hawaii for Monica and Micah’s elopement, was going to be an extraordinarily special day! This gorgeous, incredibly in-love couple met a few years ago and planned a sweet, intimate destination elopement only shared between themselves and the officiant, and they wouldn’t have it any other way!

So where do I come in? Well, they called me in at the last minute to photograph their vow exchanges and I wasn’t about to turn them down. I find that one of the best things about elopements and intimate weddings is that they lend themselves to especially tender moments. They also somehow feel a little more at ease, and that’s exactly what the vibe was on this beautiful day.

Now THAT is how you do an elopement, folks.
