Get ready for a major dose of awesome, people! Last week, I had the distinct honor of photographing Shannon and Jarret, the most adorable couple who are about to celebrate their 1st anniversary!

Our shoot was held at Mokuleia Beach, on the North Shore of Hawaii and everything was perfect from beginning to end. It makes my job easy to photograph couples that are madly in love, like these two. Can’t you feel that passion and heat through your screen? WOW!

I asked them about their love story, and Shannon told me ” We followed each other on Instagram, then I messaged Jarret first, that’s when we started talking and had our first date on a hike.” How amazing is that? Some people you are just meant to meet, and that how I feel about these two.

When I sent their gallery, they messaged me saying ” Fernanda, we are obsessed, we LOVE the photos, you are magic.” But in reality, there was no magic on my end. the magic and love were between these two. Our backdrop was simple, but the love captured between them is what really shows on these pictures. It’s moments like this when you step back and remind yourself just how special and inspiring this kind of love is.
