Okay, I’m absolutely obsessed with this session!

I had the opportunity to snag a spot for a mentorship with the amazing photographer Haley Faria during her latest visit to Hawaii.  We started with a sunrise session at Makapu’u Tidepools, in Waimanalo in which another awesome photographer and her beautiful family modeled for us. Jasmine (New Wave Photography) and her family were so natural in front of the camera and I am so thrilled to share the results of this session with you all!

The lighting at Makapu’u Tidepools during sunrise is just absolutely perfect and the weather and subjects all combined perfectly to form some incredible shots!

Just look at how they interact and the energy they project, it was perfect in every way!  I absolutely love shooting at Makapu’u Tidepools for its rugged and isolated feel, but still stunningly beautiful.
