Hello, all!

In my 4 years as a photographer, I’ve been extremely lucky to get to work with all kinds of amazing human beings. As you’d expect, every couple is different from the next. Some are all about the PDA, some are all about keeping it sweet and romantic, and some people… well, some people are just downright hysterical!

Meet Tomi and Joanne, two of the goofiest people I’ve worked with in a really long time. The session took place at Secret Beach, Kualoa Regional Park in Honolulu, Hawaii, which was a great backdrop for our 1.5 of hours together.

Tomi contacted me a while back wanting to surprise his wife with a maternity session while they vacationed in Hawaii, and I thought it was the sweetest gift ever! Joanne looked absolutely STUNNING and you can tell how happy and in love they are through their smiles!

The entire time these two were cracking jokes, and I was there to catch it all on camera. I thought it was particularly funny when I told them to dance (slow dance) and they started showing me their real moves. Ha!

I could tell that Joanne was a bit insecure for the artistic nude pictures, but Tomi kept encouraging her and telling her how beautiful she looked, which gave her so much confidence, as you can see in the pictures!

These two are officially ready to be parents, and with a relationship as lighthearted and fun as this one, I think they will be the coolest parents ever!
