And today’s blog post is about this lovely family session held at Mokuleia Beach, North Shore of Oahu.

Even though I barely photograph at the North Shore, it is one of my favorite places to shoot. We opted for a sunset session since we both live closer to the Honolulu area and didn’t want to make the 40 min drive early in the morning.

This location, while not requested often, is exceptional and quickly becoming a preferred spot to photograph my clients. I love the variety of scenery with the beautiful mountains, field, and as you walk down, the gorgeous Mokuleia Beach where the sunset is always stunning!

There are not many beachgoers except for a few surfers here and there, making the location perfect for family sessions. Catherine and her family were so fun to photograph! We started at the field because the sun was a little too high to go to the beach just yet. We then gradually moved our way down to the beach were the kids were so excited to play and explore!

Catherine and her family were full of love, laughs and so natural in front of the camera which made my job easier!
