There’s something special about having the whole family together in Hawaii, especially when multiple generations get to share the experience.

This extended family photography session at Kahala Beach on Oahu was the perfect opportunity to capture those connections, from the big family portraits to the little candid moments that make each family unique.

A Beautiful Extended Family Session at Kahala Beach

Located on Oahu’s south shore, Kahala Beach is one of my favorite locations for family photography. With its beautiful palm trees, soft sandy shoreline, and tropical scenery, it provides a gorgeous setting for natural, timeless family portraits.

I especially love photographing extended families here because there’s room to capture a variety of groupings, from the entire family together to individual families, grandparents with grandchildren, siblings, and couples.
