I recently had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family during their Hawaiian vacation, and their session perfectly showcased why Secret Beach has become one of my favorite photography locations on Oʻahu.

Secret Beach offers a little bit of everything. The beach feels peaceful, the shoreline is beautiful, and the surrounding palm trees create a tropical setting that truly feels like Hawaii.

One of my favorite things about this location is its variety. During one session we can photograph on the sandy beach, along the lava rocks, near the palm trees, and finish with an incredible Hawaiian sunset.

What to Wear for Your Ko Olina Family Session

For beach sessions, I recommend soft neutral colors such as white, cream, beige, blush, or light blue.

Flowy dresses photograph beautifully in the Hawaiian breeze, while light-colored clothing helps keep the images bright and timeless.

Avoid large logos and busy patterns so the focus stays on your family and the beautiful scenery around you.
